Mothers are amazing! They bring forth life and they nurture that life. Some of us have biological mothers who taught us about life and love; others of us have had “adopted” mothers - or even a number of them - who have mentored and encouraged us in this life.

Some women have longed to be mothers and have an empty space in their hearts. Mothers are, above all, human. We will make mistakes. We cannot live up to any standard of perfection. May we be able to forgive ourselves when we fall short. May we be able to show humility and grace to the mother friends in our lives.
